Mars is not responsible for the horrors happening around the world, MAN IS. As the God of justice, he’s that strength within that carry us even in the toughest moments, he’s that social JUSTICE seeker that boils in anger when mass shootings happen in schools or a police officer kills another unarmed black man, is that sense of anger for not being able to help when you think of the families in Palestine, Ukraine and other countries in warfare because of the lust for power of some men. Mars is also that courage that pushes us out of the bed daily and start the day (hard as it may be at times) and also that tiny explosion of courage you needed to speak your mind, to quit your job, send a job application, tell your partner you love them, buy that house or that plane ticket, or stay awake for an extra hour studying for your final and do that extra lap when training for your marathon.
Mars tells us:
